Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains your rights to cancel your subscription and receive a refund, including consumer protections available in your jurisdiction.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your zonastery subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to paid features until that period expires. No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

To cancel, go to Account Settings → Subscription in the platform or contact us at support@zonastery.com.

2. Refund Policy

Monthly Plans. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the billing period begins, subject to your statutory rights.

Annual Plans. You may request a refund within 14 days of initial purchase. After 14 days, refunds are not issued except as provided in Section 4 (Exceptions) or as required by local law.

EU & UK Cooling-Off Period. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason, provided you have not accessed the premium content. If you have accessed the content during the cooling-off period, we may deduct an amount proportional to the service already provided. To exercise this right, email us at support@zonastery.com within 14 days of purchase.

Credits. Credits included in your plan have no cash value and are not refundable or redeemable for cash.

3. How Refunds Work

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method (fees paid via Stripe) within 5-10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. International exchange rate fluctuations may affect the refunded amount.

4. Exceptions

We may grant exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis, including in regions where local consumer protection laws provide additional rights. We also consider exceptional circumstances such as extended service outages, billing errors, or medical emergencies where documented.

If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please email us at support@zonastery.com with details. We will review your request as soon as reasonably possible — typically within 10 business days.

Jurisdiction-Specific Rights. This policy does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under local law, including those under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (EU), the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), and similar laws in other jurisdictions. Where such laws provide more favourable terms, those terms prevail.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you dispute a charge through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, your account may be suspended until the dispute is resolved. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues directly — please reach out to us at support@zonastery.com before initiating a chargeback.
