By creating an account or accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms referenced herein. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service without parental or guardian involvement. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide verifiable consent in accordance with applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India). The parent or guardian who provides consent accepts these Terms on behalf of the minor and is responsible for all use of the account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Paid Plans. Some features require a paid subscription. Fees, billing frequency, and plan details are presented at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on the agreed billing cycle.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until the period expires. No prorated refunds are issued for partial periods unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
Credits. Certain features may consume credits as part of the free tier or included usage. Unused credits do not roll over and have no monetary value. Credits are not redeemable for cash.
Price Changes.We may modify pricing with 30 days’ notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
EU Cooling-Off Period. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason and receive a full refund, provided you have not accessed the premium content. If you have accessed the content during the cooling-off period, we may deduct an amount proportional to the service already provided.

Our IP. The platform, including its code, design, course framework, AI models, and original content, is owned by zonastery or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, or publicly display any of our IP without our express written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
Your Content. You retain all ownership rights in any content you submit (including assessment responses, chat messages, notes, and highlights). You grant zonastery a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process this content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service for you. This licence does not grant us the right to use your content to train or improve our AI models except as explicitly described in our Privacy Policy and subject to your separately obtained opt-in consent.
AI-Generated Content. Content generated by our AI systems is provided for informational and educational purposes. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should verify critical information from authoritative sources. zonastery does not claim ownership of AI-generated content on your behalf.
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Disclaimer of Warranties.THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. zonastery does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or achieve any particular learning outcome or exam result.
Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZONASTERY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $100 OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Exceptions. Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Certain jurisdictions (including the EU, UK, and India) may provide statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived. These Terms do not affect those rights.
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Informal Resolution. Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@zonastery.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for thirty (30) days.
Arbitration. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be finally settled by arbitration administered by the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) in accordance with its rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The award of the arbitrator shall be binding and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Small Claims. Claims of USD $500 or less may be resolved in small claims court in Mumbai, Maharashtra, if within its jurisdictional limit, instead of arbitration.
Consumer Rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable law. The arbitration clause in this section does not apply to such claims to the extent prohibited by local law.
Jurisdiction for Non-Arbitrable Claims. Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes not subject to arbitration.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and zonastery regarding the Service.
Waiver. Failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
Export Compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to an Indian government or UN sanctions embargo and that you will not use the Service in violation of any export control or sanctions laws.
